Avoid duplicate customers

When you pick an address that already belongs to one of your customers, FieldOS tells you before you save. The warning shows the customer it matches, with a link to open them. Open the existing customer if it's the same person, or choose Add anyway if it isn't: two households can share an address.

Importing a list works the same way. Rows that match a customer you already have are skipped unless you choose otherwise; see Import customers.

There's no way to merge two customers yet. If you end up with a duplicate, archive the one you don't use: edit it and tick Archived.
